Although our program isn't requiring us to quarantine before we leave for San Fransisco, I've decided to stay home these next two weeks just to be safe. But don't worry! I have tons planned to fill up my free time.

I quit my part-time job working at Jo-Ann's last week, but before I left I was able to snag some awesome fabric to create a fuzzy tote bag. I love sewing, which is why I'm going to be making my host family a tote bag, too. Except I'm using this super cute California fabric I found at Jo-Ann's.

I'll be sewing this baby during quarantine!

Finally, and most difficult of all, I will be packing!

To be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed with packing. This is my first time being abroad for more than two weeks. Fortunately, I found this website, which gave me a pretty good idea of how much to pack, and made adjustments to accommodate Seoul's colder weather.

I've heard I should pack light, but I'm one of those people that can't stand being under-prepared. However, I'm not stressing too much over packing because I know I'll be able to buy anything I forget in Seoul. Plus, It will give me a great excuse to practice Korean at clothing stores!

UPDATE:

I finished sewing the tote bag! I really hope my host family likes it. I wanted to give them a gift that would be both practical and meaningful!
