After the high school students' midterms we got to take a field trip to a fun place to celebrate all of their hard work. Although I didn't do midterms with them, I was fortunate to go with my classmates to Everland, Korea's biggest amusement park!

^^Yeah my eyes are closed here, but it was the only pic we took as a whole class hahaha

One of our classmates prepared some snacks for us in the morning, too! I ate these on the bus and in the amusement park.

We took a private bus to Everland, since it's outside of Seoul. On the bus, we played charades, talked, slept, and listened to music.

^^ Before the gates opened, the employess did a little performance to welcome everyone into the park!

The first ride we went on was Double Rock Spin. We sprinted from the gates to get in line. It was so fun! In the plaza where it was located, there was a plaque explaining how BTS's "Dynamite" was filmed there! So, of course, I had to get a picture.

It was such a great day out, too! The weather was a bit on the hotter side, but we fixed that later by going on an indoor blaster game ride. It was haunted-house-themed!

On the right, you can see our scores. I'm green in 3rd place, 소윤 was blue in 2nd, 은재 was yellow in 1st place, and 규리 was red in 4th. That ride had no line, and was really fun!

The park is on a hill, so instead of having to walk all the way up and down it, there was a ski lift to transport you to the top! We rode this a bunch of times and was always nice to relax, enjoy the view, and talk a bit.

For lunch, I had Korean food, while the others had oodJapanes. To be honest it was not that great. It tasted very similar to our lunch cafeteria food. However, I tried 식해 for the first time, which is a cold, sweet rice drink. I'm glad I tried it, but again, it was not my favorite.

Because it was spring, there were flowers everywhere. You would never believe that so much green and pink and red could pop out of the landscape I first saw upon arrival in Korea.

^^ Look at our cute aesthetic photo

^^ 은재 and I rode the log ride, and I was totally shocked when the boat turned around and went down the slide BACKWARDS. Super fun though. 10/10 would reccommend.

My favorite ride, however, was the T Express. It had the STEEPEST drop I've ever ridden on a wooden rollercoaster. It was the highlight of the park, and the highlight of my day.

More than rollercoasters though, I had so much fun with my friends. I'm so grateful to have these kind girls by my side. Even with our language barrier, I feel so close to them and so lucky to call them my friends. I hope I remember this day forever <3
